School Communication

Dear FMS Families,

I am writing to share that I will be leaving Fowler Middle School at the end of this school year to take on the principal position at Sherwood Middle School, where I will have the opportunity to serve in the community in which I live. This was a difficult decision for me as I care deeply about the students, staff, and families within the Fowler community. We have persevered through one of the most challenging times in education and worked together to rebuild and strengthen our systems, programs and community. We’ve accomplished so much over these past five years together. 

My five years at Fowler Middle School have been some of the most transformational years of my career. Together, we have navigated what is certainly the most difficult time for education in our lifetime. This community will always hold a special place in my heart.  

I firmly believe our school is in a strong position to embrace new leadership and will continue to advance the mission, vision, and values unique to FMS. Our administrative team and staff are some of the best in education. 

I offer my sincere and humble thanks to each of you for allowing me the privilege to lead this school and work with your children. Please watch for further information regarding my transition and the hiring process for Fowler Middle School’s next principal.
